The maps show the developments of Frenton between 1990 and 2012. At first glance, it is evident that remarkable changes have taken place in Frenton.
It can be seen from the maps that new buildings were built. In the southwest of the maps, the area of trees in 1990 was replaced by a modern technopark and in the north of Frenton, blocks of flats were built to provide more accommodations for citizens. Besides that, old houses in the east of Frenton in 1990 became new blocks of flats.
Some buildings also were made to serve for demand of residents. For example, the bank became a restaurant; theater and shops were replaced by a cinema and a supermarket respectively. Cafe and park were improved to become hotel and golf course. Moreover, the hospital was made bigger to satisfy demand of people
