The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
The bar graphs below illustrates the average proportions of male and female who buy three different forms of music in London,
A glance at the figure reveals that, an overwhelming majority of male purchase the more music albums than female counterparts.
As a matter of fact, average percentage of male who purchase the pop music is just below the 30 percent in England whereas the average spending for rock music increased its popularity more than three time than of people who chose classical music album. Similarly, female native music listener in all three categories are just 3 percent. Moreover, 30 percent of average native teenagers between 16-24 in England purchased pop music and there is even more population who loved to have the album of rock music but the popularity of classical music among the same age group are below the 10 percent. Furthermore, the popularity of music is in decreasing pattern with the increasing number of people age, just above 30 percent people with age group of 25-35 purchased the pop music and this trend is then decreased by marginally in the proportion of people who follow rock music, however, there are only 7 percent of similar age group of people who love to listen classical music. It is also interesting to note that the age group of 35-44 listen pop and rock music below the 20 percent and the trend of listening classical music by this age group were below 5%; however the age group of 45 and above people in UK listen pop and rock music nearly 10 percent and this proportion is doubled in case of classical music in London in question.
