The line graph below gives information on cinema attendance in the UK.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information given.
The given line graph compares the information of a research about how much UK people loved being to the cinema during their leisure time. The respondents are divided into 4 age groups. The survey was taken from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, according to the data, there were significant falls in the percentage of people preferred watching movies among all age groups and after that these percentages witnessed gradual increases. However, there was an exception.
To be specific, the oldest group always had the highest proportion of people choosing cinema movies over the period. after dropping to just under 40%, the percentage climbed gradually to more than a half in 2010. Despite of having a steady upsurge in the latter-half period, there was just more than one fifth of participants under 24 years old would like to go to the cinema in their free time.
Turning to the small exception, while the others counterparts kept increasing in the number of people enjoy cinematic films, the percentage for aged 24-34 category remained unchanged at approximate 33% from 2005 to 2010.
