The pie charts illustrate the percentage of energy generated from five different sources, namely Hydropower, Oil, Nuclear power, Coal, Natural gas, in a particular nation between 1983 and 2003.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that OIl was the main resource of energy in both years despite a slight decrease. Besides, this country used more nuclear power and natural gas to produce power by 2003.
In 1983, the total energy was made by OIl occupying nearly half, at 42%, the second location was the coal with at 23%. Over the two decades ensuing, the rate of these two arrays decreased. Detail, the percentage of energy produced from oil saw a slight fall by 4%, while the figure for Coal went down 13%.
Regarding three other sources, Nuclear power and Natural gas contributed 20% and 11% into the sum of energy in 1983, respectively. Over the next twenty years, these number had a growth, Nuclear power only increased mildly up 4%, whilst the figure for Natural Gas doubled to 21%. On the other hand, hydropower remained relatively at 4% of energy manufactured in both years.
