The graph below shows the proportion of for different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.
The given line graph illustrates the trends of 4 different materials recycled in a country between 1982 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that most of the figure experienced a climb. However, it also could not be denied that there was one figure suffering during the period.
During the first four-years, there were only two figures recycled, such as paper-cardboard and glass containers. Both of them had a contrast trend, consequently, their discrepancy became larger, from 15 per cent to 25 per cent. The amount of aluminium cans that firstly recycled in 1986 was increasing. Conversely, the paper-cardboard and glass containers were declining about both 5 per cent.
Moreover in 1990, paper-cardboard which had the greatest recycling rate was the only one which decreased gradually. Furthermore, glass containers and aluminium cans were both lifted up, however, the increase of aluminium was faster than the glass containers. Last but not least, the additional figure, the plastics, only elevated slightly, thus making it was the smallest recycling rate at the end of the period.
To conclude, there were numerous differences in the trends for 4 materials during the period.
