The table compares international tourism in 2009 and 2010 in 9 countries.
The given table compares how the status of tourism has changed proportionally in nine different countries over a period of two years 2009 and 2010.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that Germany led the chart as it gained significant popularity in the tourism business by the end of the period after which China and Turkey follow the trend. Although almost all the countries experienced a positive upward trend, France remained stagnant, while Hongkong observed a reverse trend.
According to the given illustration, leading the table in 2010, Germany witnessed a dramatic surge of tourists as the number grew from 10 in 2009 to 24 in the following year. With the highest percentage change of 109, Germany topped among all the countries in the given list. Also, China and Turkey grabbed the visitor's attention. The former recorded 55% tourism growth(22 climbed to 34), while the latter observed nearly one-third of the total percentage change. Rest of the countries: the USA, Spain, UK, Italy recorded a relatively less percentage growth(1.5%, 1.8%, 3.6%, 2.3%) respectively.
On the other hand, the number of tourists remained unchanged in France, who leveled off at 76 in both the years. However, Hongkong noticed a reverse trend as the graph saw a negative behavior with the passing time(10 in 2009 down to 9 in 2010).
