You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir,
I am writing this to express my dissatisfaction with the accommodation provided at the college campus. First of all, i have requested for a single occupancy for myself in the application form and paid extra fees for the same. However, i have to share room with another student now but i did not make any complaint about it. However, from last few days, i am facing some problems with my roommate, which are not at all acceptable, as it is impacting my study and personal schedule.
Further, although i have put all the efforts to solve this issue at my level, but things are out of my hands now. My roommate seems to be a party animal, as she often comes late in the night and usually bring her friends for night outs, which creates turbulent in my study, as well as, personal space. Not to mention, yesterday she took my laptop to her friend's place without my consent, and broke its screen. Although she is ready to bear the entire cost, it creates a chaos in my routine since then, as i had to go to cybercafe to do my assignments. So i would request you to please allot me a single occupancy if possible. If it is not doable, i can share the place with some other student who would not create such troubles for me.
I would really appreciate your prompt action to this matter.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully.
Harpreet
