The pie charts below show the averages household expenditure in Japan and Malaysia in the year 2010.

The two pie charts compare the money spent on households necessities in the two different countries, Japan and Malaysia in the year 2010.

Overall, it can be analysed that both nation spent most on food, housing and services whereas least on heath care.

It is clearly seen from the pie charts that in Malaysia the highest proportion of expenditure was on housing (34%) while Japan accounted for just over a fifth. Moreover, japanese spent 24% of expenses on food, compared with 27% in Malaysia.

Furthermore, japanese and Malaysia spent least of their income on health care that is 6% and 3% respectively. Turning towards transportation, 20% of money spent in Japan but this was much lower in Malaysia that is 10%.
