The friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He / She has asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
1. why you think your friend would enjoy a camping.
2. Describe some possible disadvantages.
3. Say whether you would like to go camping with your friend.
Dear Betty,
I received your mail yesterday and I am glad you are doing well in this lockdown due to corona virus. I think your idea of going on camping holiday in the summer is fabulous idea. I understand this is going to be your first time camping and you would like my advice on the same.
Firstly, as I said previously this is a fabulous idea. I am confident that you would definitely enjoy the camping holiday. You had always been going on one day treks and short holidays on the beaches therefore, going on camping holiday would not be much difficult for you. Also, after staying indoors in these few months of lockdown, travelling and reconnecting to nature is going to be beneficial for your mental and physical health.
However, I feel that there are few possible disadvantages to the camping trip. One of the major disadvantage is that the trip you have planned is in summer. The area gets very dry and the temperatures usually cross 40 degree Celsius. There is possible chance that you might get dehydrated or suffer from sun stroke. Another issue that I feel would be your inability to speak local language, that is, Spanish. I have read some of the reviews that were posted on tourism page was that the tourists found very difficult to communicate with the local people and convey their needs. In my opinion, I feel it would be advisable to carry water bottle with you all the time, wear a hat and hire a tourist guide who can speak any of the languages that you know and is fluent Spanish as well.
I have looked up the place on the internet and am very excited about the camping holiday. If you don't mind I would also like to accompany you on this trip as I have some vacation time coming up in my office in the coming month and bored of staying indoors. Please do let me know by next week if you have no objections. I am eagerly waiting for your letter.
Yours faithfullly,
Molly
