The bar chart given below illustrate British people giving money to charity by age range between 1990 and 2010. The data is measured in percentage. Overall, it can be seen that younger people gave more donation in 1990 while the older did more in 2010.
In 1990, the hugest percentages was society in 36-50 representing more or less 42%, by 2010 it had fallen to 35%. This was also the case for 26-35 age group which experienced decrease from 31% to 29%. At over 15%, people aged from 18 to 25 years contributed to volunteer work. But, this plunged to 8% which was the lowest levels of enrolments throughout the period.
The proportion of British people after age of 51 years old initially was the second high in 1990 at 35%. However this figure increased dramatically which accounted for 39% to represent the largest proportion of foundation in 2010. Public over 65 years old followed similar pattern, beginning at 33% and went up approximately 35%.
