Describe the bar chart
The bar chart shows the duration of leisure time in hours enjoyed by men and women of varying employment status between the year 1998 to 1999. It is shown that the unemployed and retired men and women had the highest duration of leisure time in hours.
Among the fully employed, the males had more time for leisure activities compared to the females while among the part time employees, the female had more leisure and the males had none. The unemployed and the retired had seemingly equal duration of leisure time in hours with the males having more time than the females. The housewives were noticed to have more leisure time than the employed either part time or fully employed however lesser than that of the unemployed and retired females.
In the female group, it is seen that the unemployed and retired females had more leisure time of about 80 hours in a week while the unemployed part time and full-time females had lesser time i.e. less than 40 hours in a week. Amidst the male group, the unemployed and the retired had more leisure time of about 90 hours in a week while males that are fully employed had less than 60 hours of leisure time in a week.
