The pie chart depicts the ratio men and women who got detained in between five years, while the bar chart illustrates the current reason for arrest in percentage.
Overall, as shown in pie chart, males are more arrested as compared with females, whereas public drinking was the recent reason of getting more arrested for both genders.
To begin with, in 1994 males who got detained due to various reasons was recorded with 32%, however only 9% of females got arrested.
Turning to the recent reasons, public drinking was the most significant reason of getting arrested for both males and females, which was accounted approximately 35% and 37% respectively. However, in drink driving male exceed female roughly 10%. Similarly, in breach of order, theft and other reason male exceed female by nearly 5%, 3% and 2% respectively. Moreover, assault was the recent reason where women detained rate were higher and figure was recorded roughly 18% and 16% for female and male respectively. However, 8% and 4% of female and male did not answer the reason of getting detained.
