The images show the contrasts in the center of Islip, a tiny town, between today and while it is being improved.
In general, several buildings will be developed within a future circular dual highway, while only the stores to the south of the main road will remain intact.
To begin, the local administration has chosen to build a dual highway around the town center, which is close to a school and residences, shortly. Currently, the school is not as large as it was planned, but it will be shortly. Furthermore, in order to make room for a new neighborhood, a section of the park will be removed, and the old housing areas will be relocated to another part of the city.
Despite this, the upper part of the town center will undergo several modifications in the future, such as the transformation of the main road into a pedestrian-only street or the local government's expansion of the center to the suburb. As a result, the area will soon be transformed into three huge structures: a bus station, a shopping mall, and a parking garage. Furthermore, when a tiny road connects to new homes close to the car park in the proposed development, people will have more options for living quarters.
