Overall, while a vast majority of people in UK used radio in the day, the night was the time for TV shows. Also, more people prefer Television to radio in this examined period
From 6pm to over noon, most people chose to listen to radio which had the peak time at around 8pm and attracted nearly 30% of UK population, while the figure for television was not over 10%. However, after that radio witnessed a gradual drop in its audiences, leading to be undertaken by television at 1pm
After 2pm, Tv’s rating surged signnificantly to reach its peak at 8 pm with about 45% of the total population, approximately 4 times higher than that of radio. Nonetheless, it was followed by a mere 40% plummet to just under 5% after midnight, which was roughly the same level for radio at that time
