The two charts give information about exporting development of one nation in 2015 and 2016. The bar chart compares the value of exportation to 5 categories during the two-period, and the table shows data about the proportion change in each type of export in 2016 compared with 2015.
Overall, it is clear that exporting petroleum products earned the highest in both years 2015 and 2016, while the lowest figure of exports was textiles. We can also see that most kinds of export goods experienced an upward trend in ratio during this period.
In 2016, about 63 billion dollars was received for selling petroleum products overseas, followed by engineer goods, gems, and jewelry (63 billion and 41 billion dollars respectively). By contrast, agricultural products and textiles earned about 31 billion dollars, which was twice lower than petroleum products’ earnings.
Looking at the percentage change in more detail, textiles witnessed a significant rise (15.24%) by 2016. The figure for petroleum products increased around 3%, which was roughly tripled when it comes to that of engineered goods. Conversely, the only decline of 5 categories was gems and jewelry, with an approximately 5.18% decrease.
