The shown table illustrates the statistics about consumer expenses on several products in five nations in 2002, measured in percentage.
Generally speaking, all countries surveyed tended to spend the most on food, beverage, and tobacco, and purchase the least amount of money on leisure and education. Clothing and footwear section was in the middle of the three categories with the rate of spending ranging from 5,40% to 9%.
Turkey outstripped any other country in terms of food, beverage, and tobacco trading and recreational and educational spending, with more than 32% and 4% respectively. This country also placed second place in the expense of clothing and footwear, while Italy topped the list in this section with sharply 9%. However, the amount this country spent on eating and drinking, and learning and entertaining only took the fourth and third places respectively, with nearly 17% and 3,2%.
Ireland was the country spending the second-largest amount on foodstuff (28,91%), while this nation’s expenditure on wearing and leisure and education both took fourth place (6,43% and 2,21%). Spain had the third position in expenditures on foodstuff and clothing and shoes (18,80% and 6,51%) but spent the least on amusement and education (1,98%). Sweden got second place in recreational and educational spending (4,35%) when expensing the lowest amount on eating, drinking, and wearing, with 15,77% and 5,40% respectively.
