The table illustrates the proportion of adults in city and countryside who spent break time doing numerous activities in 1990 and 2010. Overall, the number of people in all activities in urban and rural areas followed the upward trend in both year. Reading accounted for the highest number of individuals while photography took contrarily.
According to the given table, the percentage of readers in 1990 in urban was fewer than those in rural. However, the number steadily the same after 20 years. The proportion of adults utilized time for animated play in the city was similar to its in 2010. Nevertheless, that statistic adjusted considerably in the rural area, which decreased from 18% to 14%.
Looking closer to the detail, playing accounted for 21 percent of citizens but this number fell down to 14% after 20 years while the percentage of rural dwellers was the same with 26% in both 1990 and 2010. The number of people took photography in urban area was lower than those in the rural for approximately 2 times, but the statistic rose dramatically 20 years later.
