Overall, it can be seen that the top age group came from 20-24, while it witnessed a group of 40+ at the bottom position over the period.
To begin with, in 1996, women aged 20-24 led the way with just over 60%. During the following years, it decreased by around 30%. On the contrary, the 40+ age group started at around 20% in 1986 and increased to 40% in 2006. Finally, in 2016 it dropped to around 33%. Rather, the percentage of women between 30 and 34 grew significantly from above 10% in 1966 to nearly 50% in 2006.
The proportion of women ages 35-39 and 40+ was the same, which rose 30% and under 10% in 2006, respectively. Women ages 19 and under have a downward trend and ending at approximetaly 10%. While women from 25-29 fluctuated, it reached a peak of 40% experiencing a constant rise and fall over the period. Women aged 30-34 also saw a rise in 2006, reaching a peak of 35%. This was followed by a steady decline, ending at around 25% in 2009.
