You normally go shopping in the area where you live. However, you think some of the facilities for shoppers could be improved.
Write a letter to your local newspaper. In your letter:
• say in general what you like about shopping in your area
• say what is wrong with the facilities
• suggest how they can be improved
Dear Sir,
My name is Truong Nguyen, who a loyal shopper of our local stores. Lately, I have noted a few flaws of some shopping facilities in our area. Thus, I am writing this letter regarding these minor problems and a proposal to improve our local stores.
Generally, I find that most of the stores provide all demanding products and the services are undeniably favorable. Those are the reasons why I have been a loyal customer for almost 10 years. However, I think the location of food stores is not easy for the joggers to reach. Since these shops are too far from downtown, everyone has to go on bikes to get there. Furthermore, these shops are located on a narrowed street, so it always gets traffic during the rush hours.
Therefore, I may suggest that you could work with the authorities to relocate these facilities to somewhere closer to the town’s center. I believe the community will be much happier and appreciated when their favorite food stores can be reached on foot.
I hope that you would consider my proposal in the near future.
Yours faithfully,
Truong Nguyen
