You have lost an item of value on train.Write a letter to the railway company. In your letter
• Describe the item
• Explain where and when you left it
• Say what action you would like the company to take
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you with regards to my watch which was lost in a train journey.
As I was travelling to my home town for Christmas vacation to meet my parents. Unfortunately, during my journey in the train, I had kept my watch aside as it was uncomfortable to wear it for long hours. It was a brown colour leather belt Rolex watch.
Unknowingly, I left my watch in the S4 compartment of the Abu Dhabi to Dubai train. The train number is 124. I had kept the watch in the side pocket of the seat. My seat number was 24 B. It was a window seat.
It will be really kind of you, if you can help me find my watch. It was a very precious gift given by my grandmother. I would seek your staffs help as well to find my watch. I will be glad if my watch is found.
Your efforts will be highly appreciated. Looking forward to your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Jessica Ayri
