Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter
– explain why you changed jobs
– describe your new job
– tell him/her your other news
Hi John,
Hope you and your family are doing well. I know it's been really long we haven't seen each other.
I wanted to inform you that I have opted for a new job and have left my previous organization. The best reason to switch my job is that my new office is located just across the street and it hardly takes 5 minutes to reach my work place. Also, my new company has given me a job offer of a manager.
In my current role, I am managing a team of 12 sales representative. My designation is sales manager and I am directly reporting to the head of sales. The new role is challenging as I have to keep boosting my team to achieve their individual targets set by the management. However, it has been good so far and I am really enjoying my work as it is nearby my house.
Moreover, I want to inform you that I am buying a new car - Nissan Sentra next month since now I am able to save more money than before. I am so happy and thank god for being kind to me. Once I get my car delivered, I shall come to pick you and go for a drive. Hope to see you really soon.
Take care
Ali
