Overall, it is evident that Switzerland and Denmark rose significantly of the investment over period, while Spain and UK witnessed a gradual decline despite some climbs at first. Besides, the budget on research in Switzerland was higher than other countries.
During the period 1975 to 1980, Switzerland investment was the one increased dramatically to 2.6 dollars per person, rising further to 5 dollars per person in 2000. Next, there was a growth to 1.8 dollars per person in the year 1980 In Denmark. It stood at during 15 years and continue increased remarkable to 3 dollars in 2000.
Following this, Spain spent money allocation reached a peak of 1 dollar per person that of dipped only 0.5 dollars in 1990 before climbed slightly in the last period. Peaking at 0.9 dollar in 1985, compared to the last period witnessed a gradual decrease of the figured until 2000.UK was also the country spending the least on researching into the natural resources.
