Three schemes give the information about altering at West park Secondary School over 60-years period. Overall, the farmland and houses disappeared, the playground was abridged. A car park, sports field and a science block were constructed.
First of all, huge alterations occurred with the farmland: it was redesigned into the sports field in 1980 and then to a car park in 2010. What is more, in 1980 houses were reconstructed in order to build a science block and to create parking lots. Lastly, In 2010, the car park was enlarged reducing the sports field and placing it between the parking and the playground which was cut later. Over 60-years period, it is possible to mark a tendency that the car park started to play a significant role at West park Secondary School. The only things that remains unchanged since their construction in 1950 are the Main road and the school (the main building).
