The two pie charts compare the percentage of online sales for four different kind of retail sectors in Canada between 2005 and 2010. Overall, it can be seen that the proportions of electronics & appliance and home furnishings dropped over this time while others increased the figure.
Looking at the data in more detail, we can see that electronics & appliance had the largest proportion in 2005. However, the figure slightly decreased by 5% during the five years. Home furnishings is the another retail sector also had a fall from a quarter in 2005 to 15% which was the smallest number in 2010.
By contrast, more and more people chose to brought food & beverage online and it became the most popular retail sector in Canada. The percentage stood at 22% in 2005 and reached nearly one third in 2010. At the same period, the figure of video games also rose by 5%.
