The circular chart shows amount of electric energy produced by Different fuel souces in Australia and France for 1980 and 2000 respectively.
Both countries produced nearly same amount of units of electricity during both years.Australia produced more units of electric energy in 1980's . France , however produced twice the energy in year 2000 than it made in 1980.Overall there was not much to differentiate between the 2 countries in terms of electricity production.
Coal was the most used fuel source in Australia .The percentage of units of electricity produced by coal was 50 percent in 1980 which further increased to 75 percent in 2000.Other minor producers were Hydro power which had produced more energy in 1980's than 2000.
In France there was no standout Fuelsource.
In 1980 Coal and Natural gas made 50 percent of the electric energy, followed by Oil and Nuclear power , which further generated remaining 35 percent. But situation changed drastically in 2000 where Nuclear power met more than 75 percent demands of Electric energy, remaining units were generated by Coal and oil.
