Overall, school boys are more likely to take drugs than school girls in the school mentioned. Additionally, hashish or marijuana was the most used drug whilst LSD and medial drugs are the least used drugs by both sexes.
To begin with, the figure for the percentage of school boys taking hashish or marijuana was around 32% as opposed to just approximately 28% for school girls. Following this, as many as around 8% of girls taking heroin, opium or morphine in comparison to 5% for girls.
On the other hand, the figures for other drugs are relatively small. Whilst about 4% of school boys used amphetamines, the figure for school girls stood at more or less 3%. Similarly, the same percentage of boys and girls, stood at about 4%, took cocaine. Likewise, the figures for solvents were at 4% and 3% for boys and firls, respectively. And finally, nearly 3% of school boys used LSD or medical drugs whilst the figure for school girls stood at roughly 2%.
