The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The following maps illustrate different changes that occurred in an island to provide facilities for tourists.
As can be clearly observed from the maps, the island witnesses various modifications, the most important of which takes place in the central region of the island where a remarkable number of residential tents are constructed. On the southern part of the island, a pier is developed to become a place that bouts can land. Despite other parts of the island, it seems that there are not significant improvements on the eastern section of the island.
Moreover, several accommodations alongside a number of footpaths between them are built in the western side of the island near the beach. In addition, between two residential sectors of the island, a restaurant and a reception center are constructed which a vehicle track road connects them to pier and also to each other.
It is clear from the maps that beside the beach a swimming area is developed in where tourists have the opportunity to enjoy the sea and lay in the sun’s golden light.
