The given bar chart illustrates how Australia’s international students of different nations have changed in number in the years 2019 and 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that Chinese students account for the greatest portion in both years, followed by those from India and Nepal. Vietnamese, Brazilian, and Malaysian students, however, are similarly less significant in number.
Over the course of one year, the figure showing the number of exchange students from China declined from 182325 to 167568. On the other hand, those from India and Nepal, measuring at about 92000 and 46000, saw an increase of around 6000 and 4000 pupils respectively. India, as inferred from the graphs, had twice as many students coming to Australia as Nepal in both years.
The amount of Vietnamese, Brazilian, and Malaysian students coming to Australia in both years, however, are similarly equal to each other, being less than half of Nepal’s in 2019. More Vietnamese students were attracted to the country compared to the previous year, whereas a different case was seen in the other two countries. Fluctuations ranged from 1000 to 2000.
