The given chart demonstrates how an essay in a formal academic module is written. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
The given chart depicts the process through which a formal academic essay is typically written. Overall, it takes six stages for the final draft to be produced.
In the first private tutorial, the tutor shall introduce the topic, relevant tasks, as well as agree with the students on possible references, in the forms of books or articles. Next, the research stage is followed, demanding tons of reading and note-taking. Field work might also be expected, in which students may hold interviews or ask around with surveys and questionnaires, to collect necessary information. Once all are gathered, students shall plan their outlines carefully before crafting their first draft, which should be written formally and proofread for style errors.
This draft shall be brought to discussion in the second private tutorial, sometimes referred to as study group discussion, in which problems of the draft are identified and suggestions are raised. The students then rewrite the first draft into a second draft, taking what has been discussed into consideration. The finished second draft, along with the next session’s revision and final touches, such as the bibliography and title page, makes for the final draft. Once it is completed, it is of utmost importance to have the final draft submitted by the agreed deadline.
