Annual rice production
The given bar chart provides a comparison of the amount of rice production in 4 different countries between the years 1995, 2005, and 2015.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that the amount of rice production in city A and city D saw an upward trend, while the opposite was true for city B. Furthermore, the number of rice production in city C remained unchanged over the period.
Looking at the chart for more details, at the beginning of the period, the number of rice production in city A, was the highest, at about 45 million tonnes. Then, it saw an increase to around 48 million tonnes in 2005 and reaching a peak at precisely 50 million tonnes in 2015. The figures for that in city B were lower, at about 35 million tonnes in 1995, then it increased to over 40 million tonnes in the next 10 years and it declined to around 42 million tonnes at the end of the period.
For the rest of the chart, in 1995, the amount of rice produced in city C stood at around 4 million tonnes, and the figure for city D stood at 3 million tonnes. There was a slightly rise in the amount of rice produced in city C in 2005 and it doubled the figure for city D, at around 6 million tonnes and 3 million tonnes, respectively. Additionally, the amount of rice produced in city C shared the same information with city D, at 4 million tonnes in 2015.
