We can observe from the pie charts that the degree courses that are appropriate are the most concerning reasons in both years. Meanwhile, the distance from parents' home to school was a matter of concern in 1987. Suddenly, it became a reason to study in a UK university in 2007.
Students choosing to study at universities in the UK to obtain a suitable degree course increased from 35% to 37% in 2007. However, the second reason was that in 1987 the quality of resources decreased from 21% to 17%.
Similarly, there has been a decline in active sports and social activities from 19% to 6%. This is a small set of information to choose a university in 2007. Besides that, students who prefer university near their parents' home have increased by 10% to 20%. Unfortunately, the number of students who prefer university because of the quality of teaching decreased from 15% to 8% at the end of the period.
