The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different attractions in Brighton.
The line graph represents how many tourists visited four different attractions (art gallery, pavilion, pier and festival) in Brighton in a percentage from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, pavilion had the most of visitors over the projected periods whereas the art gallery was the least popular attractions among tourists by 2010. Festivals had a constant percentage of tourists every year, while there was increasing in preferences to visit the pier in the same periods.
In terms of pavilion and festival, pavilion had experienced a rising preference of tourists visiting the places over the period, whereas festival had the similar preferences among tourists as which percentage was constant. In details, tourists visiting the pavilion doubled the amount from 20% to over 40% in the first fifteen years and then it decreased slowly to 30% of tourist’s rates by 2010. Meanwhile, festival had 30%of visiting rates in 1980 and which rates decreased to close to 30% in 1985 but this rate remained unchanged during the same periods.
In contrast, there was a quick rise with the visiting rates to the art gallery from 20% to 35% in the first five years and then it continuously plummeted to below 10% of tourists visiting rates by 2010, while the pier had a frequent increase with the tourists visits as it grew more than 10% by 2010 from 10% visiting rates in 1980.
