The line graph compares the amount of money expended on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria over a period of 10 years.
It is clearly that the amount of money on books in four countries had a rising tendency form 1995 to 2005.
In 1995, German paid out 80 million on books –the highest amount of money, compared to Austrian spent on 30 million dollar while French and Italian spent about 55 million dollar and 50 million dollar on books respectively.
During 1995 to 2005, the amount of money spent on books increased lightly around 95 million dollars, 75 million dollar and 60 million dollars respectively in Germany, France and Italy. However, the amount of money spent on books in Austria rose gradually from 30 million to 40 million dollar in 1999 and it stayed at same level until 2001 to start jumping rapidly at 72 million dolar in 2005.
