Write at least 150 words.
The map shows two potential locations (S1 and S2) for a new school in Canterbury.
Overall, S1 is in the northeast of the city, while S2 is located in the south. The proposed site S2 has the advantage of proximity to the housing and it is situated in the town centre.
In terms of the possible site S1, it borders on the housing area and is within easy reach of the main road that links Sturry with Canterbury. So S1 is an ideal location for students coming from Sturry which is only 5 kilometres away. If the students who come from Chartham, which is 7 kilometres to the south-west, they would be able to reach the school by taking the main road that runs south-west of the town centre.
In regard to the site S2, because it is situated in Canterbury, it makes practically equidistant for students coming from either Sturry or Chartham. Also, S2 would be relatively convenient for pupils living in the housing estate around the centre to go to school. However, there is a drawback because of no traffic zone in Canterbury; therefore; it is difficult for parents making travel arrangements to drive their children all the way to school.
