The given graph shows the nitrogen oxide emissions produced by four vehicles. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
This line graph illustrates the amount of nitrogen that 4 types of surveyed transportation produced at different speeds . Generally, it is clear that when reaching 130 mph, buses emitted the highest level of nitrogen, more than 40 grams per kilometer. Nevertheless, the level of nitrogen given off by diesel cars remained the lowest throughout the surveyed speeds.
There was a sudden fall to nearly 20 g/km in the data on nitrogen production by buses and lorries when reaching 60 kph. Despite the decreasing trend, the figure continued increasing and dropped 43 g/km and 25 g/km respectively. The data suggests that nitrogen production decreases with increasing speed. This could be due to improved fuel efficiency at higher speeds. The results suggest that reducing speed limits could lead to improved nitrogen emissions.
Both hitting the lowest point in the nitro production of Diesel and petrol car, in spite of some light fluctuation, the data stabilize with the amount of nearly 5 grams each kilometer at the speed of 10 kph to 130 kph.
