The line graph illustrates, information of water usage in three different sectors such as, agriculture, industrial and domestic use globally between 1900 to 2000. While, table depicts, the consumption of water in Brazil and Congo. In general, usage of water for agriculture was the highest among other given sectors. In addition Brazil consuming more water than democratic republic of congo.
Initially, water usage for agriculture was began at 500 km3 in 1900 which was dramatically increased to 3000 km3 by the end of period. Whereas, industrial and domestic use was remained steadily with less than 100 km3 up to 1940. After that industrial usage was climbed up slowly to roughly around 400 km3 by 1980, then which is rapidly escalated to more than 1000 km3 in 2000. Moreover, domestic use was the least water consumption area with lower than 100 km3 up to 1980 which rose slightly to 200 km3 by 2000.
Likewise, most significant water consumption country was Brazil with 176 million population and 26,500 km2 irrigated land. The average use of water per person was 359m2 which is considerably highest as compared to congo with mere 8 m3. Furthermore, Congo has only 100 km2 irrigated land with 5.2 million population.
