The pie chart below show the main reason why agriculture land become less productive. The table shows how these causes affected three regions of world during the 1990.

The first circular representation revels the information about the main reasons for the world wide degradation of agriculture land, and second lay out highlights the three regions: North America, Europe and Oceania. Which were affected by these cause in the year 1990. The data is calibrated in per centum.

It can be seen that, because of overgrazing, world wide 35% of land had been degradated. Apart from this, 30% of total became less productive due to deforestation. Moreover, over-cultivation and other had effected the productivity of land were 28% and 7% respectively.

Moving further, in Europe, peak area of land was being degraded in comparison to North America and Ocenia. Which was 23% of land. In addition to this, total 5% of land had degradated in North America. Because of deforestation 0.2% of land became less productive, following with 3.3 % due to Over-cultivation, and 1.5% of land as a result of Overgrazing. Furthermore, No land was being degraded by Over-cultivation at Oceania in the year 1990.

Overall, it is evident that both Overgrazing and Deforestation had played a significant role in degradation because of this, in Europe, maximum land became less productive.
