The process shows the different phsaes of bricks production. Summarise information
The picture highlights the various stages involved in the production of bricks. Clearly, this is a complex process, which requires certain conditions and a range of machinery.
The whole production process starts when clay is dug out by a digger, before being sent to a factory. Initially, clay has to be sifted through a metal grid. After that the roller delivers the sand to a forming station and on the way the sand is mixed with water. Afterwards, this sand mixture is formed into bricks in a mould and cut by a wire cutter. On the next stage the sand is dried in a drying oven for 24- 48 hours. Once the sand is dried, it is sent to a kiln to be baked at the temperature of 200C- 980C and, subsequently, at 870C- 1300C. Later, the sand undergoes a cooling process in a cooling chamber. At the final stage, workers of the factory pack the bricks and send them on a truck for a further use.
