After 15 years, teachers in Luxembourg was still paid the most, with about 119.000 while the same figure from other countries ranging from 48.000 to 65.000.
However, to reach the maximum salary, the most well-paid country for teaching job, Luxembourg, required teachers to have at least 30 years of experience to gain a maximum of 132.000, which was the second hardest requirement, compared to the top of 37 years to get the highest of 86.000 in Japan. Meanwhile, Korean teachers needed no less than 34 years to have the highest salary of 62.000. It is also worth pointing out that although Australian and Denmark teachers had the lowest maximum salary of 48.000 and 54.000, they were only required to work for about 8 to 9 years to achieve this.
