This line graph illustrates the UK residence visits abroad and overseas to the UK during 1979 till 1999, while the bar graph displays the most popular countries when the UK resident visited in 1999.
Overall, we can clearly see from the line graph that the abroad visits of the UK residents rose steadily in1979 and it boomed till 1999.On the other hand in the bar graph, France had the highest number of UK visitors followed by Spain and Turkey had the lowest UK visitors.
On one hand, as we see in the line graph, visits abroad by UK residents began by around 10 million in 1979 then increased steadily to 20 million visitors and suddenly an upward trend over 50 million abroad visits until 1999.
On the other hand, it was readily apportion in the bar graph that France was the highest country that had more than 10 million visitors followed by Spain with less than 10 million and Turkey came at the end with less than 5 million visitors.
