The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and 2010.
The two maps of a city hospital present how people access it differently in 2007 and 2010, Overall, the most visible changes during the 3-year-period is related to the newly-built roundabouts and the location of the bus station and the parking space.
In 2007, the structure of the roads is rather simple, with the Ring Road around the main building, the Hospital Road leading directly to the hospital's entrance, and City Road crossing it at the south.
However, fast forward to 2010, two roundabouts have been added: the first one is at the three-way cross between Ring Road and Hospital Road, and the second one is located where Hospital Road and City Road meet. Between the two roundabouts, at the west of Hospital Road, there is a new bus station, replacing the six small bus stops originally located on Hospital Road. The parking space has also been divided into two sections: a staff car park, which is at the old car park's location, and a public car park, which has been constructed to the east of the City Hospital.
In short, the changes made between 2007 and 2010 at the hospital have made it easier for people to transport to the site.
