You recently received a letter from your bank that should have contained a new credit card. Unfortunately, the card was not in the letter.
Write a letter to your bank manager. In your letter,
explain what happened
suggest that the credit card should be cancelled for security reasons
ask when a new credit card can be sent

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with reference to your letter dated 12 August, 2020 which contained by new credit card. I regret to inform you that when I found the letter, I found it in a dilapidated and worn out condition. When I opened the letter, I was not surprised to note that it did not have the credit card as mentioned in the letter. I was so looking forward to suing my new credit card.
Since credit cards are susceptible to mis-use, I would like to suggest that the card be cancelled with immediate effect for security reasons.
I was looking forward to using my new card and hence would like to know when the new card can be re-sent to me. May I request you to do so at the earliest, as I am handicapped without a card and paying in cash for all my requirements isn’t an option that I prefer.
I look forward to your prompt response.
Thanks and regards,
Pam
