Write a letter to the nearby restaurant owner
-Why the noise was irritating
-What should he do to reduce the noise level
-What will you do if he does not take any action
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Sara Henricks and I am one of your neighbours. I am writing you this letter about the noise which came from your restaurant yesterday.
It was around 11:00 pm and I was preparing for my exam but the music was too loud so I could not concentrate on my study. I had my physics exam today but due to the irritating noise I could practice and sleep on time yesterday.
In order to solve this problem, you can consult with the technician about the sound proofing technology which will be the best solution for upcoming events. If you apply the sound proofing technology then I am sure you do not have to go through all the complaints.
If you do not agree to take any action regarding my suggestion and if it continues in future then I will report this to the police. The legal action might be costly for your business and I hope you do understand it.
I hope to see the positive reply from your side.
Yours faithfully,
Ms Sara Henricks.
