Write a letter to your friend in another country where you would like to visit for the holidays. In your letter, you should:
• Explain your travel plans
• Describe the interesting places you plan to visit
• Ask for suggestions for sightseeing options

Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you well. I miss you so much and a lot of things have changed since our last meeting that you were here last March. But guess what! Julia, my new bride, and I have planned to visit Toronto for the Christmas holidays this January. We can finally have a double date with our partners together. Wouldn’t that be amazing?
Ok, let me share some of the plans that we have in mind. First, I want to ask you to look for a temporary place for us because a hotel would cost us an arm and a leg as we estimate that our visit would last at least 40 days; since during the pandemic we’ve never left the city, can you imagine how exhausting that is?
About the places that we can see, after all those astonishing pictures and clips of you in Niagara Waterfalls, I immediately wrote them down on my bucket list. So you have to take us there. Another interesting place that we would like to visit is the landmark of the city, the CN Tower which is the most impossible to miss.
But these aren’t the only sightseeing that we wish to visit for sure. However, since you’ve been living there for almost a decade, you know the best places more than anyone else. So any suggestions are welcome.
Say hello to Sarah and we see you soon.
Warm wishes,
James
