You have just won two tickets to a concert and want to invite your friend to go with you.
Write a letter to your friend. In the letter
• give details about the concert
• describe how you won the tickets
• explain why you’ve chosen your friend to go with you.
Dear Clara,
I'm writing to let you know that I've won two concert tickets for this weekend, and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me.
It is Stone Tulip concert at Opera House in Cairo city center, and it opens its door at 7 o'clock but I think we don't have to attend this early there because the gig isn't scheduled to start until 9 o'clock.
To win the tickets, I had to call Cairo Eye radio show and answer a small question about the concert but I had also to be the caller number hundredth. Fortunately, I tried twice but there was no way and when I got through all conditions were met and I answered correctly and that is it!
Anyhow, when I got this award, I recalled the good old days memories when we used to listen to this concert together. I know how you're so passionate about such events. My sister would like to come with me but I'm sure she has no interest at all in this genre of art and that is why I found it a golden opportunity for me and you to catch up.
If you agree to come, let me know as soon as possible.
Best regards
Mark
