You recently went on a business trip and stayed in a hotel. On getting home, you realised you left some things at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager stating:
Details of your stay
The items you left behind
What you want the manager to do.

Dear Sir,

I would like to have your assistance to look for a missing document at your hotel at 3.00 pm this afternoon. I had a business meeting with one of our major client and the meeting was held at the Orchid room of your hotel from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. I realised that one of my critical business agreement document is missing after reached home. I believe that I left it on the sofa seat at the corner of the room.

The document was enclosed in a sealed white colour envelope with my company logo. It contains some sensitive business information. Any leak of such information will be detrimental to our company.

Therefore, I urged your immediate assistance to locate it and handover to an express courier service as I am unable to come and collect it personally. I will arrange the courier service and will let you know the details.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns and thanks in advance for your prompt support.

Yours sincerely,
Jack London.
