Companies should provide sports facilities(physical acitivites to have a healthy well-beings) for local communities. To what extent do you agree?
In contemporary society, the concept of corporate social responsibility has gained significant attention in terms of a company's strategic development and stability. Many individuals argue that companies should allocate a portion of their budget to support sports facilities within the community. Personally, I am inclined to partially agree with this notion.
On the one hand, one of the key reasons why companies should invest their funds in advancing sports facilities is to enhance their brand reputation within society. By prominently displaying their logo or brand name in sports facilities, these companies can capture the attention of their target customers, leaving a lasting impression and creating a sense of responsibility towards the community. Consequently, companies can seize valuable opportunities to become a household name in the community. For instance, Vingroup, a reputable real estate corporation in Vietnam, consistently focuses on developing the exterior of their residential projects, incorporating various sports facilities. This approach not only demonstrates their commitment to promoting the health and well-being of their customers, but also enables them to engage with potential customers in the future.
On the other hand, there are more compelling reasons why I firmly believe that the responsibility of providing public sports facilities lies with the government and other non-governmental organizations. Relying solely on a company's budget to support sports facilities would be impractical, as it would not cater to the demands of all citizens in society. This is precisely why authorities should implement policies that allocate national funds towards the construction of sports spaces with comprehensive facilities, thereby improving community health. For instance, the Vietnamese government has prioritized the development of public parks with sports facilities as a primary strategy in building metropolises such as HCMC and Hanoi, aiming to enhance societal health and overall development.
In conclusion, while it is important for companies to contribute to the improvement of sports facilities in order to enhance societal health and attract customers, I firmly believe that the responsibility and investment in these aspects should primarily lie with the authorities and policy makers.
