Nowadays more and more people are spending less time at home. Why do you think it happens? What effect does this have on individuals and the society?
In today’s era, everyone is occupied in personal and professional life. In my opinion, many people spend less time with their near and dear ones, in contrast to past due to their busy work schedule and passion for hobbies. This trend is increasing day by day and it could affect an individual and his surroundings in many ways which I will be covering in following essay.
To begin with, in this cutting-edge competitive world, everyone is working hard and wants to be succeeded at any cost. They, furthermore, are spending much of the time with their work related activities. For instance, most of the IT sector employees get the personal laptop so that they can be in touch with their professional network to provide prompt feedback even after working hours. In addition to that some individuals pursue personal hobbies on daily basis such as craft activities, playing badminton, singing practice etc which keeps them involved for longer duration after office hours.
In this way, people are forced to spend less time at home involuntarily because of their routine. It could affect their emotional bond with family members which would result in more stress levels due to lack of mental support. Eventually, this would have deleterious impact on society as its members could not contribute to make it peaceful and developed place to live. Moreover, individuals are base of any community, when they would not put forth best ideas, it is impossible for that society to grow.
To sum up, many factors could contribute to keep individuals busy but they should spend some spare time with their family and close friends which will aid to their personal growth as well as society’s development by making harmonious relationships among the members.
