Some parents think that childcare centres provide the best services for children of pre-school age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better carers for their kids.Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Pre school are good for young children to develope their skills and learning, despite this more parents think that leaving their child with grandparents feel more securely. This essay will include both points of view about the topic and my personal opinion.
Firstly, childcare centres are important in a child learning developement journey, they learn how to become more independent away from their own families members, how to socialize and interact with other children in an different environment. Therefore lots of parents choose to send the children to the nursury/pre-school from early age, although from age of 3 they have government support and pre schools are very important before reception. not only they get to know other children they can could be in the class but also they become more confident and independent.
Secondly some parents think that leaving their child with grandparents they feel more securely in their own home environment therefore less distress on departure leaving for work and the parent feels more content. The other benefit could be that they get one to one time where at nursery the ratio adult to child could be one to three therefore less attention, however they know that nursery are safe and eventually they will send their child to pre schools.
