the chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.
The given bar chart clearly presents information about the total number of minutes (measured in billions) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into 3 selected categories (local-fixed line, national and international-fixed line, and mobiles) from 1995 to 2002. Overall, it is evident that there are 2 general trends: an upward and a downward.
In detail, it can be explained that the upward trend belonged to the trend of mobile and that of national and international line because the number of minutes of mobiles increased greatly from only 4 billion minutes in 1995 to 45 billion minutes in 2002. Meanwhile, that of national and international line rose moderately from 38 minutes in the first year to 68 billion minutes in the last year. On the other hand, the trend of local line experienced the downward trend because there were a gradual climb from 72 billion minutes in 1995 to maximum at 90 billion minutes in the last year.
Finally, it is interesting that, although the trend of local line underwent downward trend, its figures were considered the most popular in the UK when it be compared with other types in each year.
